To make a bespoke, truly custom cover, we only need a short video.
Place an item of scale near the object you need a cover for (a can of coke, a kleenex box, a ruler, a yardstick, etc).
Take a few steps back so as much of the object as possible is in view. It's ok if it's really big and it can't be fit in view all at once, but the further away the better is a good rule of thumb.
Walk once around (or as far as you can) holding your phone at eye level as you make your video. You don't have to rush and walk fast or tip-toe slowly around - just take a comfortable pace and mind your step.
